Apple unveiled its new lineup of MacBook Pro laptops featuring the latest M3 chips. The new models include 14-inch and 16-inch variants with options for the M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max chipsets.

The entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro features the base M3 chip and replaces the previous 13-inch MacBook Pro. It has a larger 14-inch Liquid Retina XDR display with slimmer bezels and no Touch Bar. Pricing for the 14-inch M3 model starts at $1,599.
For more power, Apple offers the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros with M3 Pro and M3 Max chips. These new chips deliver improved performance and efficiency. Apple claims the 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M3 Pro chip can achieve up to 22 hours of battery life on a single charge.

In terms of design, the new MacBook Pros look similar to the previous generation but are now offered in a new darker Space Black color option. The laptops retain the three Thunderbolt ports, HDMI, SD card reader, and MagSafe charging port.

Other highlights include up to 48GB of unified memory, up to 1TB of SSD storage, 600 nits brightness displays, and AV1 video decoding support. Prices range from $1,999 for the 14-inch M3 Pro model up to $3,999 for the high-end 16-inch M3 Max configuration.

The new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros with M3 and M3 Pro chips will begin shipping on November 7. The M3 Max models will ship later this year. All configurations are available for pre-order now on Apple’s website.
